Republican candidate for governor Rick Snyder appears at the Red Run Golf Club in Royal Oak Wednesday, July 21, as part of the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce’s ongoing speaker series.
Snyder will speak to an expected audience of about 100 people from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Doors open at noon with lunch served at 12:30 p.m.
Other Republican gubernatorial candidates expected to participate in the ongoing series include Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox. U.S. Rep. Pete Hoekstra was part of the series in June. Rounding out the Republican field is Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard and state Sen. Tom George.
Democrats running for governor are Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero and Michigan House Speaker Andy Dillon.
The Red Run Golf Club is at 2036 Rochester Road in Royal Oak.
