Pollsters, academics, journalists dissect Nov. 2 election

Journalists, academics and pollsters gather at Oakland University Thursday for a "debriefing" of the Nov. 2 election called Campaign Roundup 2010.

The panel discussion will be in the university's Oakland Center Banquet Room B.
The event is free to the public but guests are asked to RSVP to polisci@oakland.edu.
Lunch is at noon and the panel discussion begins at 12:30 p.m.
Panelists are Chuck Stokes, editorial director of WXYZ-TV; Bernie Porn, founding principal and president of EPIC/MRA Survey Research; Susan Demas of Michigan Information and Research Service (MIRS); Rich Robinson, executive director of the Michigan Campaign Finance Network; and Terri Towner, assistant professor in OU's Department of Political Science.
Campaign Roundup 2010 is presented by Oakland University's Department of Political Science, College of Arts and Sciences Dean's office, College Democrats, College Republicans, Student Congress and Pi Sigma Alpha.
Republicans in Michigan swept offices for governor, secretary of state and attorney general, and took control of the state House in the Nov. 2 election.
