U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow is scheduled to address the Detroit Economic Club breakfast in Southfield Monday, April 11.
Stabenow, a Michigan Democrat, is seeking re-election to a third six-year term in 2012.
She is chairwoman of the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee and co-chair of the Senate Manufacturing Caucus. She plans to speak about the connections between the agriculture and manufacturing industries, and new marketing opportunities in Detroit, according to her staff.
The program begins at 8:50 a.m. at the Southfield Westin, 1500 Town Center in Southfield.
