Latest Republican presidential delegate count: A long way to go

The latest official delegate counts released Friday, March 9, by the Republican National Committee shows there's a long way to go before Republicans settle on a nominee to run against President Barack Obama in November.

The RNC lists Mitt Romney ahead with  339 delegates, followed by Newt Gingrich at 107, Rick Santorum at 95, and Ron Paul at 22.
That's the RNC's tally of delegates who are bound to support the candidates based on the outcomes of primaries and caucuses so far.
But a lot of the delegates in the nominating contests aren't bound by the results. The RNC lists 258 unbound delegates.
  The race continues.....
